Oda Mauson: Try unplugging the sound bar ( from the wall socket) wait 30 seconds and plug it back in...do not connect the TV and sound bar when they are both on...turn off the HDTV and turn off the sound bar then connect the optical cable then after it is connected turn the HDTV on first then after the TV is on turn on the sound bar....also the optical cable may have damage if you kinked it or pressed it up against the wall..in that case it needs to be replaced with a new one....
