Silvia Stclair: Milwaukee is a great place to live. There is so much to do there everyday if you wanted. Not to mention all the festivals that go on. It has great facilities for the arts, more theaters than you could dream of, a great symphony, great night life, friendly people and great parks. They have a great art museum with the calatrava (a link is below to see it), The mitchell park domes, Miller Park with a one of a kind opening roof, the new Discovery world off lake Michigan, new state park just off the shore of lake michigan and much more. This is just the tip of the iceberg. The only downside is traffic but with the marquette interchange almost complete, it will be done in august that will no longer be a problem. And the packers to rein as the king in this state. the streets are bare when they are playing people are either at the game, at a bar/restaurant, or at home watching. Russel Gajate: in case you like small communities, richfield, Utah, (center of nowhere) Idaho falls Idaho (on the element to a pair stuff, yet not a brilliant city by way of any ability.) Or Rigby Idaho, (even smaller, yet interior 0.5 hour rigidity of idaho falls.)
Abel Adger: I grew up and lived in WI (Green Bay) area and the out laying area for 34 years. I miss it so much!!! My hubby was in the military thus we had to move out of state. Whatever you do ...do NOT move to Pennsylvania.The Green Bay and surrounding areas are wonderful, plenty of things to do throughout the year, you have a wonderful 4 seasons, many areas are very historical ( you can find them on the web) check the historical societies, beaches, lakes, fishing camping, hunting, county fairs, skiing, snowboarding, water activities,etc... there are so many ! neat things. I can't wait to move back there. You do have some! bigger areas like Milwaukee for great shopping and other things to do and museums, but outside of Milwaukee and Madison...you have no where near the congestion of populated areas for me that equals Peacefulness.Hope this helps....Show more
