Clemmie Burkleo: "studying abroad" is "留学(ryu-gaku)" or "留学する" in japanese. so it should be "来年イギリスの大学に留学します".but i think "来年イギリスの大学に行きます" is also good. I fully understand the meaning.you can use "留学" to emphasize "abroad".
