Adrian Paraz: To make the car go fast as possible, you need to get as much as possible out of the motor, which means, if it is a standard DC motor, using a higher voltage. You also need to minimize frictional losses, so make sure the wheels and axils are well lubricated and that the car is streamlined to minimize air drag.To keep the car going in a strait line, your best option would be to make sure the drive axil runs both drive wheels equally (if one wheel makes a certain number of revolutions per minute, the other wheel makes exactly the same number of revolutions per minute, and make sure any steering wheels are locked in alignment with the drive wheels....Show more
