Lizzette Wendroth: I've been to Disneyland (California) and Disney World (Orlando) many years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed both, but I was a lot younger. That was enough for me. Been there, done that. Now I enjoy a more relaxing vacation.
Nilda Bafia: now no longer in a foreign places type, no, yet i've got certainly asked a contentious question which won fairly some destructive responses except the cavalry arrived (my candy contacts) to make all of it greater and make me smile as quickly as greater. It grow to be the variety of mandatory and real question too, one among those shame it obtained a contravention be conscious.
Alisa Kaleiwahea: Funny how the drugs always belong to someone else in the car. Certain career fields may be closed to you but it shouldn't be a problem in others. Certainly you can still run for public office!
Rodolfo Merel: I study your tale with an open suggestions, yet i will fairly permit you realize suitable now that it does ! not look sturdy for him. I completely comprehend the area approximately status up for himself, yet here is the place the undertaking starts. as much as you could hate to take heed to it-your fiance isn't allowed, neither is all people else, to take the regulation into his very own hands. What somebody did to him replace into undesirable and that they genuinely deserved to be punished. the 1st element he could have completed replace into to report the crime against him to the police and enable them to deal with it. i understand, i understand, you elect somebody else to wreck. the reality of the undertaking is that all of us choose there to be justice. And, confident, it is an extremely severe cost against him and confident he would desire to bypass to detention center for this. The lesson here for each individual is to maintain clean and abide by ability of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loise Mausser: Cultures and Groups is a random selection of the Groups and Culures made by the computer, not by the questioner. There's really no excuse for harassment regardless. Enjoy your dip.
Claudio Drullard: Most job applications only ask if you've ever been convicted of a felony. The employer might do a background check but even then, if it's just poss., they may just ask you to explain.
Lizzette Wendroth: Tim proves my point. Pure evil and nasty.
Lou Rought: Fortunately I get motion sickness and can't do rides. I live 45 minutes from one of the nations largest water parks and seldom go there.
Ronnie Sardi: You only have to disclose felonies on a job application.Weed possession is a misdemeanor.
Mel Crapo: Mental illness needs an outlet and Yahoo news comments fills that need...
Dannie Briseno: It's Christmas vacation. The kids are used to being online in their classrooms & now they ! are sitting at home with nothing else to do...it happens every holiday. They'll soon be back on their old schedule & then it won't be so hard to deal with the horror of it all. A swim sure does sound nice....hope the pool has warm water in it! Enjoy yourself ndnquah.....you need to pamper yourself occasionally....Show more
Adelle Weight: I have no idea how anyone could find this story something to joke about. The details of this story are sickening. I don't know how anyone could do such a horrific thing to another human being. Hopefully the man will be caught soon & be sent to prison for the rest of his life. Those who praise the man for what he did to his victim, are as sick as he is.
Jorge Detlefs: Funny, I just went and looked, and there are only three out of 21 senior questions there. Most of the rest are LGBT questions. I have come in on Cultures and Groups many times to see no senior questions at all. Maybe you just hit it right.
Hilton Paiva: I ! can just see myself getting on one of those huge rolley coasters. My he! art has already been repaired twice. If it needed repair again after that they'd have to search for it around my butt hole.
Olin Hallin: All good answers except Tims and gray eagle who are obviously weirdos. Thanks to almost all.
Percy Seiger: You've posted this question four times in one hour. Your "brother" posted it ten times in one day. If this is legit you need a lawyer for advice.
Kandi Lough: Even worse is the tragic shooting of children by their mother in Illinois. Yahoo needs to take off the comment portion at the end of the news articles. No good comes from it. It only fuels hatred.
Sang Hanafin: Amusement parks are for kids. I wouldn't be caught dead in one.
Alma Twomey: You know I hadn't thought of that. I knew all the questions asked show up on the 'main page' as they're posted, no matter what 'catagory' they are put in. I didn't realize they were showing up on "Cultures and Groups" page also, for everyone to see there. Good poin! t!---Luvs
Ruthe Real: Add gray eagle to the list as well. This apparently doesn't concern or bother him because it wasn't him.Todays youth have no sympathy or show no empathy, and Gray idiot? I've been surfing the net for over ten years.I'm a USMC vet 71-74, and yes, this bothers me boy.
Magda Vandergriend: I had no idea they went there much less stayed for so long. Not in cultures and groups that is. I knew unresolved questions remained in the back pages of seniors.
Monica Voltin: Children, long lines, heat, manufactured entertainment. How can anyone consider this relaxing? Give me a quiet walk through the mountains or an early morning round of golf.
Filiberto Ranalli: It all depends. There are certain agencies in this state that will not hire you. You would have a tough getting a job with any government organization with a drug charge. Better hope you can find something in the private sector.
Cole Desher: Yes I noticed that too. When I would a! sk a question on Seniors, I got a lot of answers from people who were n! ot seniors (a lot of young folks). Didn't know how they knew about the question. Then I did what you did and understood. Enjoy your swim!!!!
Rayford Latz: You should consult an attorney. There are many rules about what you are required to disclose to prospective employers.
Mack Ukich: Degree is in American Studies and International Studies
Ulysses Failey: The long lines & greasy food irk me now, but when I was a kid I escaped the heat by riding the Doom Buggies through Disney's Haunted Mansion. The last time I rode a roller coaster - at Knott's Berry Farm -- I was surprised to find that I couldn't wait to get off. Throngs of people make it impossible to relax nowadays. Use to be fun to go with my big family decades ago.
Lilli Kochel: Show me a senior citizen with the strength and stamina to hold out on an amusementride without losing his lunch, and I'll show you a 45 year old who's prematurely grey. Most seniors can't handle amusement rides. They ge! t dizzy, or are too weak to holdon well, or have the fear of a stroke or heart attack. We're supposed to do those thingswhen we're young. Not older when we start slowing down. It's common sense, that evenif we feel we have the stamina, we should take precaution to not over due things that are stressful to our bodies. And that would be one. Especially, the roller coaster, orMad Max rides. My husband couldn't handle things going in a circle when he reachedthe age of about 50. It took me years longer. I had trouble with roller coaster rides early, and he could handle them long after he hit 50. It's how able we can handle that inertiathing. I couldn't handle speed boats around 50. But it didn't bother my husband....Show more
Corrinne Ruozzo: Received a possession charge as being the passenger in vehicle of a former Marine who had "stuff" in the car. Have a 6 year degree...and other than the possession there's nothing else on the record..What can I do to still get a job, Is! there any chance what so ever?...Show more
Gregg Hagge: Possessi! on of what? Some other dude did it is really not the way to go. After six years of college you need Yahoo to help with this? Try not bringing it up most employers are looking for felonies and bad credit ratings.
Dawn Saha: I read a whole bunch of comments on Yahoo news from people praising the guy who burned an elderly woman to death on an elevator Saturday. What gives?
Dexter Dingus: Isadora, go back further, I saw some on pages 3 and 4 and even if you post to Seniors Category they go to Cultures and Groups and stay for a while!! I hope this helps!!
Ervin Overbee: I used to love Disneyland, Disney World, and Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va. I've been to each several times. Now that I'm older, the appeal has worn off. But, I had a ball going in my younger years.
Travis Sherrock: We are a culture and a group! I think I'll go have a swim, in the ocean, too. You COULD pick only the category you would like!
Billie Bratchett: This is the way! it actually works:1-All questions go to the main question page2- All questions then go to the heading page in this case C&S3-Then questions go to the picked catagory.Yes, the trolls on the main page and C& S get first dibbs and get to thumbs down and report first. Before it even gets to the Seniors page. This is true for any catagory you make pick for your Q to be answered in. So you can not bypass the troublemakers in the lower sites. When you ask a Q for CS, we are actually the last to see it. Why do you think we keep getting thumbs down and violations....Show more
Chris Coggins: The last time I was at Disney Land we stood in line two hours for that space mountain ride. That roller coaster that shoots thought the stars. We got to the top of the line and they had to temporally had to shut the ride down because some fool lost his sunglasses. Finally we got on. We had a couple of gals from Korea who spoke English rather well behind us in line who were interesting to tal! k to. When my daughter graduated high school we sent her to Florida wit! h friends to Disney World for a week, so I did not have to go thank goodness. I am not up to this any longer. I have health problems now from injuries from people hitting me on the road so I don't ride any more.I always loved roller coasters the old vintage ones were my favorite. Although my least favorite is the wild mouse, Go figure....Show more
Elsie Resner: I had to grin at alayugmal's answer. I see he's been that way since childhood. I'm giving him a TU, anyway. lol.I loved going to the amusement park with the grandchildren. I don't know if I can take it anymore, but I'd give it a try. Why not? I love watching them have fun. I know older couples who go to the State Fair by themselves so that they can enjoy the exhibits and such. Some go for nostalgia....Show more
Marco Stolarz: HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA That is so funny! sucks for her. but seriously LOL
Edwina Fu: I went over to Cultures and Groups and saw Senior questions on the first 4 pages an! d quit!!! Now, does this give anybody a clue on the harrassment that has been going on? Take a look!! Have a good day and I'm off to the pool.....to swim!!!!
Estrella Northway: Cause they think it is funny. Is this your first experience with the Internet? If stuff like that distress you then don't look at it.
Marcelle Vanlith: Too bad that Disney is many peoples' only amusement park experience. In my area, western Pennsylvania, there are two local amusement parks which are quite delightful -- Kennywood and Idlewild. Both are quite old, from the late 19th century. The cost is nothing like Disney -- about $25 per ticket which is good for all rides all day. Yes, they have the modern wild rides -- Kennywood is a favorite of roller-coaster fans. My favorite ride? In each of these parks there is a beautiful, old fashioned merry-go-round. I could ride them all day. When my kids come for a visit next month (they are all in their 50s) they are looking forward to spe! nding a day at Kennywood, and so am I....Show more
Filiberto Amau! ty: Your brother asked this question for you many times this weekend, check to see if he has an answer for you, or if hes seen a therapist yet.
Jeannetta Gaffigan: See a lawyer. Be honest about it when you apply. Stay away from said person. Don't get into anymore trouble.
Marcelina Schossow: Seniors is a sub-category of Cultures and Groups, and all questions in every sub-category are posted there (LGBT, disabilities, other), just as all Culture and Groups questions are posted in the general category of Society and Culture. We just get to refine our Q's by coming directly to Seniors, without having to sift through the others (thank goodness!). Have a great swim!
Mitsuko Manne: I wouldn't go to an amusement park in the summer time..I go during the spring or just before fall start..and yes they are costly so I don't go anymore..=)
Robbie Starchman: Oooh that poor, poor woman.....Certain folk have that sick sense of humour Tom and will make a joke ou! t of any crisis.Take heart though as thankfully we're not all like that.
Ollie Hamiel: My amusement park experience consists of two visits to Disneyland (I mean the one in Anaheim CA). The first time was when my parents took me in 1960 as part of a road trip through California. The so-called Enchanted Kingdom was decidedly the low-point of the vacation. Even at that young age, I remember thinking that the place was creepy. I have especially vivid memories of being overwhelmed by profound despair during the night we spent in a chilly cinder-block room at the Disneyland Hotel that stank of swimming-pool chlorine and cotton-candy vomit, while listening to the sounds of parents in adjacent rooms yelling and beating their screaming children. The second time was in the mid-1970s when I was a hippy and thought it would be a "trip" to revisit the sordid never-neverland while taking hallucinogens. But it was not interesting. I just felt the same sense of alienation and despair.! I don't understand people who think amusement parks are big fun. But t! hen again, I don't understand people who go on cruise ships or love fast food or watch reality TV shows....Show more
