Jen Maday: Actually, a little bit of baking soda generally will solve the issue, and won't hurt your garden. Try a little of that with some water, and it should clear the smell up. If not, you may have to till the soil and put a mixture of 1/2 vinegar and 1/2 water to clear up the smell.

Dalila Yoon: Doggie waste will contaminate the vegetables and render them unsafe for human consumption. Fence of the area and keep the dog out of there.
