Mel Crapo: It depends what "better" is, which cameras you are comparing and what you want to do with the camera. Personally, I'd be looking at Canon cameras...
Malissa Porth: you have an option of either a Korean design (samsung) or American design (kodak). i have never used a Samsung, but my Kodak digital has provided me with years of good service and sharp images. Kodak is one of the oldest camera makers in the world.
