Idell Syed: OK, heres how i would go about convicing her. When wearing proper equipment airsoft is statistically safer than staying in your home your whole life. Honestly, i have done the research for opening a paintball and airsoft field, the insurance is really low because of the rem! ote risk of injury when wearing saftey gear. Then i would tell! her she could talk to your friends parents about playing the game on their property beforehand and leave it up to your friends parents as to whether they can play or not. If your father is around he can always supervise the situation also. Compromise with her and tell her games wont be played without your father being involved. I understand her not wanting to get sued, but theres no reason she cant get the "ok" from the other parents by making them aware that the game is going to be played. If your super-paranoid you could always get a recorded line with the ok by hookin a recorder to the phone...or make em sign a waiver, any little contract written on a peice of notebook paper will do. as long as the parents of the kids involved OK it, theres no liability for your parents. Airsoft is a great game, its terrific exercise, and a TON of fun. You seriously run more of a risk playing no-pads football in the backyard than playing airsoft with your buddies....Show more

Wear eye protection!!! Your parents need to be discussing this between themselves and come up with one answer they both agree on..You going back and forth trying to convince her is not right. Coleman Coscia: if your father is all for it, maybe you could try to have him help you convince your mom. also, having a friend shoot you from a distance is good. plus, showing her what kind of protection you have is also good. when shooting from a distance, use a crappy pistol. you are definatly allowed to wince when it hapens, but dont cry out in pain or your mom will most liely flip. airsoft isn't really very dangerous, but maybe you should lay off on the "making a field" for awhile, just make sure your mom is ok with you being in wars...Show more

Randa Hessell: Haha, well... This may sound REALLY stupid, but have a friend stand and shoot you from a decent distance and show her it doesn't hurt that much.Also, if you are to try that make sure its a shitty gun with like 260fps so it doesn't get you too bad. lol.
